Law Enforcement Personnel have left that situation? What do you do
now? Paperwork, phone calls, and arrangements no one wants to make
in this frame of mind. What are emergent situations that affect us
in our community? These can be:

- Domestic Violence
- Death Notification Assistance
A Community
Organization for Victim Assistance (A.C.O.V.A.) is funded only by
grants and has been around since 1991. This law enforcement program
is located in the Sheriff’s Office and the Police Department.
A.C.O.V.A. is trained to go to any crisis and assist law enforcement
and families in dealing with these terrible situations. This amazing
group of people takes the time to help us through these traumatic
events. A.C.O.V.A. is able to provide assistance 24 hours a day, 7
days a week to victims of crime of circumstance. They work closely
with the families as well as the Law Enforcement and EMS personnel.
A.C.O.V.A. is hosting
a fundraiser “Deck the Halls” Holiday Tour of Homes which helps keep
this invaluable organization going. This event will have over 15,000
square feet of professionally decorated for Christmas. This will
take place on Dec. 4th & 5th from 10:00am to
6:00pm. This special Holiday Parade is an invitation to the whole
community to view over 15,00 square feet of spectacular decorated
homes. We need your support to make this an amazing yearly event.
