ACOVA Advocates care
They are trained in crisis intervention, and they can
provide referrals to appropriate agencies to help you get
your life back on track.
We assist victims, witnesses, their families and friends
following a crime or incident by providing:
-
Crisis
intervention with victims and families.
-
Referrals to supportive agencies, both public and
private (i.e. Victims' Compensation, YWCA, Judicial
System).
-
Follow
up phone contacts with victims, families, and witnesses.
-
Community awareness programs about victims services to
community groups, schools, businesses and churches.
The ACOVA program works in conjunction with the Pueblo
Police Department, Pueblo County Sheriff's Office, District
Attorney's Office, and the Colorado State Patrol.
